In the following passages, we have provided information on the collection of personal data when you use the customer satisfaction questionnaire. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, for example your name, address, email addresses, and behaviour as a user.

2. Processing of personal data

2.1 When you visit the questionnaire portal

a) Use of cookies

Cookies are stored on your computer when you visit the website with the customer satisfaction questionnaire. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and allocated to the browser used by you, through which the party using the cookie (in this case, us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot execute any programs or transfer viruses onto your computer. They are used to make our website more user-friendly and effective overall. The legal basis for this is Article 6 (1) sub-para. 1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences, however please note that you may not then be able to use all of the website’s features.

b) Use of Google web fonts

To present our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way across all browsers, we use fonts on this website by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (Google web fonts). Google web fonts are transferred to the cache in your browser to prevent multiple loading. A connection to Google is automatically established. It is theoretically possible that Google could collect personal data in the process, although it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes this would take place.

2.2 When you use the questionnaire

In addition, when you use the questionnaire, personal data is processed as follows:

a) Which sources and data do we use?
We process personal data that we receive from you for the purposes of the customer satisfaction questionnaire.

This usually comprises details such as the order number, company name, name of the contact person, email address, and information on your satisfaction with sales, customer service, and the product.

b) How long is my data stored?
The data disclosed by you is processed in order to analyse customer satisfaction with sales, customer service, and the product. We will delete the data generated in this connection two years after the order has been fulfilled.

c) Why do we process your data (processing purpose) and what is the legal basis for this?
We process the data disclosed by you so that we can understand whether the service quality of our sales and customer service teams has improved and how satisfied you are with our products.

The data processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) sub-para. 1 (a) GDPR on the basis of your freely given consent.

d) Do I have an obligation to provide data?
There is no statutory obligation to provide data.

e) To what extent does automated decision making take place in individual cases?
No automated decision making is used.

f) Who will receive my data?
Your data is accessible to the employees of IPT Institut für Prüftechnik Gerätebau GmbH & Co. KG who are responsible for ensuring that our products and services are continuously improved. No data is passed on to third parties.

g) Is there an intention to transfer data to a third country or an international organisation?
There is no such intention.

3. Which rights can you assert in our regard?

You have the right to be provided with information on your personal data stored by us.
You additionally have the right to require rectification of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us.
You have the right to demand the deletion or restricted processing of the personal data disclosed to us. IPT Institut für Prüftechnik Gerätebau GmbH & Co. KG will delete the personal data or restrict its processing if the statutory conditions pursuant to Article 17 GDPR or Article 18 GDPR are met.
You furthermore have the right to revoke your consent to the analysis and storage of the data that you have disclosed. Your consent can be revoked at any time, and the data stored for this purpose will then be deleted. The legality of the data processing performed on the basis of this consent until the time of its revocation by the data subject remains unaffected.

You have the right, pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, to lodge an objection to the processing of your personal data on the basis of Article 6 (1) sub-para. 1 (f) GDPR provided that there are grounds for this objection that relate to your particular situation.

4. Do I have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority?

If you think that we are in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation by collecting, processing, or using your personal data for the above-mentioned purpose, you can contact the data controller’s competent data protection supervisory authority. The Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany www.lda.bayern.de) is the competent authority for IPT Institut für Prüftechnik Gerätebau GmbH & Co. KG.
