The chemical test stand performs creep rupture internal pressure tests on plastic pipes filled with chemical liquids that are exposed to elevated temperatures in a test oven. The test pressure generation occurs with gaseous media by means of a test stand model 1820. The test temperature is monitored and controlled in a range of 20 °C (with external cooling) to 200 °C. An external extraction unit can be connected, via which the vapours released during the test can be safely discharged. The chemical test stand has an interface to IptDataLogging®.
